Parking Capacity:

80-car parking capacity! Carpooling is strongly recommended

Campground Capacity:

Limit of 175 campers allowed.

  1. I-70 westbound approx 65 miles -- or -- W 6th Ave Freeway westbound to I-70 / exit onto I-70 W toward Grand Jct
  2. Take exit 195 to merge onto CO-91 toward Leadville approx 22.5 mi
  3. Sharp right at North Poplar St (US-24)
  4. Continue to follow US-24 1.7 mi
  5. Turn left at County Rd-99 1.7 mi
  6. Turn right at County Rd-9 0.5 mi
  7. Turn right at County Rd-9 / Turquoise Lake Rd 0.4 m

Misc Information:

  • For CPAP-users, electricity is provided, but you will need to bring your own 50-100 foot extension cord.
  • Please remember that registration is required for all participants, whether tent camping or staying off-site.
  • Thursday campers: No check-in prior to 2pm!
  • Bring warm clothes & bedding for chilly-to-cold nights (low 40's and 50's at night).
  • Rain gear and Mosquito repellent is advised.
  • Refreshments are the campers responsibility.
  • Remember, we're at 10,000 ft elevation.
  • There are no RV Hook Ups available at the site. Please contact Ed to inquire and reserve a spot
  • RV's count as two vehicles, and available on a first reserve basis

Payment Options:

All payments must be received before August 16th.

  • PayPal: For your conveniance, you can purchase tickets electronically using PayPal. For this option, read the rest of the Terms and Conditions and click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
  • Check: We are discouraging the use of checks for this event, but you may choose to pay by check option if your payment reaches us before August 16th. Please make your check payable to "Front Range Bears"

    Please Note: Checks that arrive after August 16th will be returned. We are not responsible for checks delayed or lost in the mail.

Rainy Day/Refund Policy:

We will allow cancelation if notified by August 14th. However, no refund if it starts raining at the camp site. In fact campers should be prepared for rain some time during the weekend.

Release of Liability:

Everyone attending as part of the FRB group are required to sign a Release of Liability exempting the Front Range Bears from and liability incurred while attending the event. No Exceptions. Click Here to read the release before you attend the event.

Please bring your Proof of Purchase:

We recommend you print your PayPal receipt and bring with you to lessen and problems we may have with your registration.
